Eligibility

Eligible companies must:

• Be a for-profit company
• Be located in one of the 10 countries competing in PoP 2008
• Have been in existence for at least 3 years
• Have annual revenues of maximum US $25 million

Geographic Focus

In its second year, the contest focused on:

• Eastern Africa: Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda
• Western Africa: Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria
• Southern Africa: Botswana, Namibia, South Africa
